2. No need to baby sit the scan like in older versions(used to pause at a detection :P)[/url]
Just finished downloading the new version.. yep have myself been a very big fan of avira.. nd in my opinion it's the best..

there was no need to baby sit even in the previous versions,, all that had to be done was change the config in the expert mode.. holds the same for even this version..(good bye to ad-aware since avira's with a antispyware now ;) )

Not if you wanted to avoid applying the same action to all files. I have some files it picks up but I still need :ashamed:

Avira is not one among the best free AV's but its the only best I have tried. Using Kaspersky now only because I have a 6 month free licence key however once it expires I will be back to Avira.:hap2:

i would be using avira had they included an email scanner in the free version. using avast at the moment..

I am testing AVIRA atm, was on avast earlier, i also downloaded latest chrome Beta, dont know whether BETA version is buggy or is it because of AVIRA but chrome hangs on me now....

Back on AVAST, AVIRA felt faster in deleting virus but is unstable (Only my opinion) simple tasks like right clicking a JPEG file hangs the PC! I rebooted my PC 4 times today because of this issue.. never happened before!!!!
