M1210 is no longer listed on dell website ...... when i called them up they said for 1210 they will be taking orders only 2-3 days more :(
 
this also means not even one 12.1" power lappy on the market....

The 1210 was the lone warrior in this segment

13.3" is almost as big as a 14.1" :(
 
Read in the papers a week or so back that Acer was launching a 12" laptop. Specific model wasnt mentioned and google reveals nothing :huh:

Price was somewhere around the same 60k IIRC.
 
There are a lot of 12.1"ers in the market apart from B1950 also

none of them comes even close to the 1210 though

Lol...I only know of this cause a friend has it...

Which others m8? I think AOC or some offbeat company had 1, saw a review on TT some 1 or 2 months ago...

Any others?
 
hmm..offhand, there's HP TX 1000 and Compaq B1950, a 12" model from HCL

then there's the Lenovo X series and the travelmate 3xxx series from Acer

None of them come close to the 1210 though :(

Yeah thats true about not coming close to it though, a 12.1 C2D with 7300GS topped off with great looks...will surely miss ya
 
Couldnt they have done this 3 months earlier ?? I would have bought my sis the 1330..... She didnt want the 1210 coz it was too tiny. And I had 100% decided to get her that.

Only the payment had to be made. My dad was going to pay that day and at the last minute my sis decided the 12" screen was too small...
