Backup up phonebook !?!?!?

hey !!
I got a bluetooth dongle ... is there a way or a softeware
through which i can back up my phone book on my pc ...
been searching all nite .. came up with jilch ...
phone is the N-Gage QD .....
Anyone ????? :huh:
 
Download MobilEdit or Mobtime Cell Phone Manager. These programs will allow you to back up your phonebook, text messages etc. You can even make/receive calls and smses from your computer.
 
I used my datacable to backup my phonebook but once i had borrowed my frnds bluetooth dongle and i just went to phonebook and send all contacts via bluetooth. Voila, the file was recieved on the comp without any problems.

hey tracer me using mobiledit ... but for some stupid reason it dun

connect to my phone ...... :S
 
What phone do you have? It has worked just fine with my old T630, my current K750i and the various other phones I've reviewed in the past such as the RAZR V3i, the SLVR L7 etc. So it's probable that you're doing something wrong.

Assuming you've installed the correct drivers for your phone, you'll have to navigate to file>settings in Mobiledit and select your phone and the port it's connected under. Then go back to the connection wizard (file>wizard), select the connection type i.e. wireless or USB and let it auto-detect. Try this and reply.
 
ahh i did evrything rite with mobiledit ..

i am gunna try the nokia pc suite ... lets c if that shit works ..

ohh my phones the Engage-QD ....

and yes the rubber arnd the corner has started to come apart :(
