Car & Bike Badly Confused between Scooties , PLS HELP!

Hi Guys,
I am buying a scooter for myself which i would ride most of the time in city only and sometimes my father would drive. Now i am confused fully confused between Honda Dio/TVS Wego/Suzuki Swish and Newly launched Yamaha Ray Z(it has killer lookz)

Now i and my lil bro are preferring yamaha ray z becuz of its style and features like telescopic suspension , gas filled shockers etc, but i haven't done its test ride and its price is 53k on road which is also cheapest, Now when i went to tvs showroom over there i had the test ride of Wego and it was good due to its body balance technology and 12inch wheels and full metal body but price was 58.5k and the salesman was saying that yamaha has poor mileage it would not give more than 35kmpl. I have heard that tvs has bad electricals in its scooties and also i didn't liked its looks that much either,

Now i went to Suzuki showroom and saw swish and they showed me a video of autocar india which comes on CNBC Awaz, In that they had competition between honda dio, Vespa and Swish and Swish came superior in every department but again swish had the worst looks and its plastic quality was also cheap and it was 125cc i.e less mileage as i don't need power, its price was 57.5k

Now Dio Well it looks good but i have heard that its seating position is not comfortable and bad suspension, though i have driven honda activa many many times and its suspension wasn't that bad and everything was good but i am bored with it also every one owns it hence its nothing new or fresh.

Pls Kindly Suggest me any one above, also suggestions on any other scooter not mentioned in the above list will be appreciated what i need is Mileage,Comfort,Less Maintenance,good quality and looks!
 
Yamaha Ray Z has my vote.

Its comfortable, stylish, good Aftersales, is cheaper ticks all the right boxes.
 
Yamaha ray would be a better choice. Its the vfm package. My brother bought it 3 months back and is quite happy with the vehicle.
 
what mileage it gives to u @techygeek[DOUBLEPOST=1371017124][/DOUBLEPOST]@swiftwind kindly can you confirm what is the average mileage of Ray Since Ray Z is nothing different than Ray except looks everything is same, plz infrom me about the mileage it will be greatly appreciated

On the ray he is getting an avg of 48 to 52 based on driving conditions. The only complaint is the space under the seat. You cannot keep your helmet properly. You migt need to check and buy as per the formfactor of the storage. Also a bit unstable after 80 km compared to my 6year old dio hope it helps
 
My advise - after doing a a survey and reading reviews in the internet/ magazines i strongly suggest you (and your father) spend some time test riding the scooters and familiarizing yourself with the scooty before you go ahead. Also, go speak to a few local mechanics and get a sense from them. they wouldn't know about the newer scooters much but they would give you a lot of good info about scooters like the Dio or Wego.

swish is not good with mileage and looks. Activa I is nothing but stripped down ver of activa nothing new so today i went to Yamaha showroom and booked the all new ray z white colour, it has 1 week waiting time eagerly waiting for it :)

New Honda Activa:
Had band handling(used to skid often) and ok mileage. now new versions have so called HET technology. So dont know about mileage. New Combi brakes are supposed to help. Do they?

new Yamaha Ray:
How is the mileage and the handling. Handles well on wet roads?

Aviator has disc brakes but dont know about mileage.

My primary requirements are good mileage, good road handling and decent looks(unisexual atleast :)
 
Ray looked somehow looked timid when compared to Activa HET. DOnt know if Ray-Z would make any difference.
Activa is Rs64k in Blore:( How much did you say Ray Z made a hole in your pocket?
