Car & Bike Bajaj Avenger : Pick or kick?

So, am planning to buy a new bike. As, my budget is tight(under 1 lakh onroad), and i want somthing above 150CC or atleast 150CC, keeping in mind the styling and everything, i have made my mind to buy avenger 220.

Now, the thing is, i want to know, how is the bike? Every pros and cons of the bike. I have taken a test drive, and its fine with me as far as power and comfort is concerned. Average is also not an issue with it. I just want to know, is there anything which can made me suffer and regret in future for buying this bike? I want all pros and cons of this bike :)
 
The vehicle is amazing for highway rides and there are better alternatives for inter-city commuting. It is an easy choice if you've made up your mind on a cruiser. If not, consider the Pulsar 200NS.

I dont like pulsar family..as well as, i want either a cruiser, or a sports bike like cbr150 or r15.. as it will suit me better.. arent there any cons of avenger? should i buy it?

I will be mainly using it for inter-city rides..

I have brought Avenger 220 on 12-12-12 last month its superb bike.

Cons :-
- Don't have kick start model
- Only concern about battery life we can't replace or add aftermarket product like Horn, HID etc. wrong wiring or cut outs can drain battery so fast, also Battery come with 1 Year warranty.
- Back seat isn't comfortable on long road drive
- Rear break is very weak but not big issue bike can be controlled using both breaks.
- Front disk break make noise when bike is new but disk break gets free after some KM of running in starting FE is very low i got around 30 KMPL.

Pros :-
- 220 DTSi Engine damm good pickup
- Suspension are very good.
- FE is far better considering bike with 220 CC engine 35+

And there are lots of Pros but found above Cons which i described but sure you wont regret after buying bike it "FEEL LIKE GOD"

Thanks bro... cleared all my worries..no major cons, thats all i wanted :D avenger 220, final!
 
Personally even I like the Avenger, I learnt riding on its prev version the Eliminator. It is a very nice bike but inter city commute is a little less comfortable than other bikes. Apart from that, it is an awesome bike especially for taller individuals.
 
if it rains a lot in your area, avoid. you'll soon be sitting on a rust bucket. Cough up a little more and buy a bullet. You'll realize its the better deal once you consider the depreciation
 
put (max )50k extra and go for the RE classic. test drive a bullet and rip it as you do....and count how many heads turn.

Avenger has a very very very poor depreciation.......no street presence whastsoever. But if u do love touring its ok......naah go for RE 350,

this is coming from a guy who hates bullet, i just noticed these things when i used to drive my friend's thunderbird.
