I want to manage the bandwidth on my Linksys WRT54G2... AFAIK its not possible with the stock formware... I looked at Tomato Firmware but it doesn't list this model (WRT54G2) ... is there any other firmware that will allow me to limit the bandwidth on the wireless connection ?
I found that dd-wrt supports wrt54g2 (DD-WRT Forum :: View topic - Linksys WRT54G2 now supported) but I can't find out if it allows me to limit bandwidth. I want to be able to enter a maximum speed (in kb/s) for a particular mac id or for the entire wireless network. QoS is already available in the stock WRT54G2 firmware and that allows me to set priority (High, Low) but I want to set exact speed.
