Haven't been to National market recently but I highly doubt the PSPs u'll get there will have a mod chip, thats a recent phenomenon, I guess. What you might find is PSPs (most likely Japanese version) with firmware version 1.5 which does not require mod chips to run home brews and copied games. Even otherwise, I don't think downgrading, say 2.71 to 1.5 should be a lot of problem.

Probably not, considering Palika in Delhi is one of the biggest grey market channel in India, they don't sell firmware modified PSP's, and there exists only 1 modchip for the PSP and which has failed miserably, and no, I have never seen ISO's sell before (how are they supposed to sell ISO's anyway?).

So no, like Rishia said, you might find a PSP that has 2.71 firmware or less, which you can easily downgrade yourself (if you follow the instructions), but you'll not find firmware modified PSP's. The PSP Iso's are available all over the internet if your internet connection has the capacity to download 700mb-1gb files without a limit.

thks guys....thats the prob my net has a 4 gb limit per month........what is the price of the games they are selling??? what is the best price for the psp.....................?what all acess.....should i buy

Well, PSP games in markets cost between Rs.1500 to Rs.2500.

I order all my PSP games through Ebay International though, I find better deals (for example, GTA VCS and MGS PO for around 1800 each with shipping).

For access, get a hold of 512mb or 1gig Original MMC (original MMC is stressed, PSP can be funny with counterfeit mem sticks) for watching videos and songs, a screen protector (thin plastic sheet that covers the screen) and a PSP protection case (like the one from Logitech) so that its safe even if you drop it.

I think (reasonably sure) that they are selling DVDs with PSP ISOs in Palika. I remember seeing some a month or so back anyway. The idiots were selling them alongside PC dvds.

It was just your run of the mill game DVD with PSP games in it. They have to be in ISO format.
