Bangalore Peps Any One Came Across This ? Bbnl.

I got a mail from BBNL about a survey on ipv6. The next day, net went down for about 20-30 mins and then when I test for ipv6 it was up. I live near to their head office.

most of my issues are sorted within hours and the connection is very stable, very less downtime i use the 25mbps plan
Do you get the 25Mbps speed all the time or it fluctuates ? Getting really frustrated with ACT, random slow speed and downtime issues !
Edit: If you use speedtest.net, please try Singapore server or any european server. You can also try speedof.me . ACT is fast when I check with Indian servers but <2-3Mbps for Singapore or EU.

Called up BBNL cc, and they forwarded me to a local technician.
Called up the local technician, he arrives at my place(silk board) in less than 5 mins.

He shows me a pamphlet of a local cable internet (vcs broadband, the same that we ditched a year back, mega downtimes !); The pamphlet had totally different plans. Sent him off instantly.

BBNL has tied up with the local cable operators. I did try BBNL as test for 3 days couple of years back in Sanjay Nagar. I could get 5~6 Mbps.

Not sure how is it nowadays. Any one in Sanjay Nagar Bangalore users need your review please. I too have Fail_Tel and for some absurd reason they cant change my plan. Seriously thinking t switch.

Guys. I'm planning to get BBNL for home. What's the cost of 10Mbps UL? Any FUP?
Comes up to 1150 approx per month. no FUP pretty good connectivity as well.
Only catch is that you need to purchase your own wifi router and get it mapped (Shouldn't be an issue at all)

I'm a BBNL user based out of Sanjaynagar, been their customer from the past 2.5 years and have no major issues, you do have some rare downtimes and connectivity issues, but the customer service is pretty prompt and usually gets you back online within 15-30 mins

As for the plan, the monthly charges are 1,150 (incl. tax) ever since i picked it up in 2014 - initially, he used to provide speeds of 10mbps and now its 20MBPS - No FUP.

Only thing is that you need to purchase your own wifi router and get the modem mapped accordingly

Hope this helps
