Tax = YES. Octroi = No. Octroi will of course be extra. Best option: Get it shipped to a friend in Navi Mumbai or anywhere else outside octroi zone :)?

Also, it might be poss to ask them to ship it with a "Hold outside Octroi Zone" Instruction so u can go pick up from the courier company's warehouse. Dunno if dell will agree or not. Ask them ;)
 
i m interested but again tax saving octroi stuff comes in picture.....

i want one with 3 yrs warranty...thats the reason ...else would had been ready to pay octroi

Everyone knows US prices are cheaper, not only for laptops, but for lots of other things as well. Unfortunately not everyone can source stuff from there.
 
BAD NEWS: Prices have been revised. Got a call form the rep asking me not to give out same quotation references :P He said it was an older quotation and it will not be possible for him to provide same price to everyone. Hes willing to give it on 1 piece to me still. I had asked for a friend so if he doesnt take it, maybe I can offer the same to someone on the fourm.
