Laptops Basic questions of memory in Laptop - Really confused

Guys... I am not too much into technology.. I have some basic questions about laptops.. Can somebody please end up my confusion by answering these questions? So, here's the list:

Is RAM also called the internal memory of the laptop?
Is it right to term Hard disk as memory or it should be called as storage?
Is hard disk not a memory of the laptop?
What is SATA?
Which is the primary memory of the laptop or say PC?
Where does all the info gets stores - HDD or RAM or internal memory?

Well! I am confused :huh:

a.yes you can call RAM as internal memory.

a.better call it as storage

q.What is SATA?
a.sata==serial ATA its a connector for internal hard disk and dvd drive,cd drive

all information gets stored on hard disk .

in ram--all your current active memory is available for working.
