This is a tutorial on how to make a line of text scroll across your image. This tutorial should be looked into after going through the other two tutorials on animation.
Fading Text.
Moving Square.
Open the document you want to add the moving text to.
Using the type tool punch in the text you want. Now open the image in imageready.

Click on duplicate current frame to generate another frame in the layers palette.
Now as shown in the picture move the text layer in the first frame to the extreme right and in the second frame to the extreme left.

Select the first frame and click on the tween tool and enter the settings as in the following picture. Remember, more the no. of frames smoother the animation and larger the file size.

Now hit the OK button and you shall have 15 more frames added to the animation palette. Click play to see your animation in action.

This is how it would look.

The duration for which each frame is displayed can be changed to render the animation at a slower/faster rate.
Of course this can also be made by the conventional method of moving the layer by a bit and then saving each image to be compiled later by a gif generator software.
