PC Peripherals Battery for UPS APC SUA1000XL

Hi,

Please can somebody recommend me a battery to use with APC SUA1000XL. I have been using Exide batteries until now and have a horrible experience with those. I have had to change the batteries few times already with this UPS.

The poor performance is forcing me to believe that either the exide batteries sold by dealers are fake or these are simply old batteries being sold to unsuspecting users like me.

Is there any other battery which works well with the above UPS. Otherwise I will be forced to buy genuine APC batteries which will cost a fortune.

Sorry for a bit of OT but was planning to pick up this UPS, so do you mind sharing how much you paid, and how much battery life you get with the Exide battery? I have an old assembled UPS with an exide battery and was planning to change the UPS alone.
