I have a HP mini 210 Netbook and I have a strange problem....my battery shows... Battery 93% (Plugged in, not charging)....although the netbook is plugged in to power outlet....ther is no problem in the charger because it charges the netbook to 93% from lets say 50%.....tried restarting the system...uninstalling/reinstalling the microsoft ACPI battery control driver.....but it didnt help....

Can anyone help please...

thanks in advance...

Did you use any battery monitor software to extend the battery lifespan by changing the charging thresholds?

If not, it may be a battery issue

Download HP Battery check and post the screenshot.. it may help

hey....dis is the screenshot of the hp battery check....it was showing ok yesterday....bt now its problematic....btw one year has not passed since I brought this netbook....so is the battery still under warranty..

the possible fault that caused the trouble may include one of the following-:

1> battery sensor gone kaput.

2>the battery itself might not working properly.

3>a virus/trojan is causing trouble and showing faulty readings.
