All OS Battery Replaced of Samsung Tablet ( But battery not showing depleting percentage)

Hello Guys.

I had just replaced my Samsung S4 tablet battery from local repair yesterday.

It is working absolutely fine otherwise like fast charging is working well. The tablet is working well.

But since yesterday even after using it for say 1 hr or so...battery percentage is still 100%. Will it get rectify on its own after using for few times?

I know this might be third party battery and so it will might be the reason but should i be worried.

I have 6 month warranty from that guy too.

Is there anything else I can do to fix this? some software or app that can show me real percentage.

Any help will be appreciated.

Battery Calibration Steps
  1. Fully charge the device: Charge the device to 100%, then keep it plugged in for an additional 2-3 hours to ensure the battery is completely charged. This is important since the battery percentage reading may not be accurate.
  2. Completely drain the battery: Use the device until it powers off due to a fully depleted battery.
  3. Recharge in one go: Charge the device back to 100% without interruptions or power cuts.
  4. Start using the device normally.
After completing these steps, the battery should recalibrate and provide more accurate percentage readings. However, if unusual behavior persists, the behavior is likely to remain unchanged.

Much thanks for these information.

Battery is now showing the depletion percentage too and surprising battery has lasted me more than 2 days with really decent usage.

I am not sure how reliable this third party battery is going in long run but even If i can pull 2 years with this. I will be very happy with this.

Remember the golden rule for extending your battery's life...

Dont charge above 80% and dont let it fall below 20%.
Yes . I already put it on battery saving option .
But in this S4 tablet...it allows to be charged till 85% instead of 80%.

I think that is also okay.

Edit- There is a fast charging option too . Which I have enabled it.
I have read a bit on Fast charging and it seems there is no proper evidence that if it harms the battery or not.
So for now I will continue using it.

That's odd. Might fix itself otherwise you will have to take it back

In my experience, third party battery means no battery temperature reading works. With the stock battery, apps that track battery temperature work fine.

If you don't notice any improvement after a few days then let him know.

Stock is all you need

Why not use an app called accubattery on the Play Store. It gives good readings about charging, discharging, battery health. There is an option to notify you once the charging reaches to 80%. The data analytics regarding battery is enough to guage the health of the battery.

The operating system provides all battery related parameters to apps, including AccuBattery. The OS obtains this information from the battery's BMS, which is responsible for reporting key metrics such as the state of charge, wear level, and other battery details.

Dont charge above 80% and dont let it fall below 20%.
If you want to go even further, start by keeping the charge level between 40% and 60%. As the battery ages and the runtime decreases, gradually expand the range to 30-70% and so on. While this approach will increase the number of times you plug in the battery to charge each day, it can significantly extend its lifespan potentially doubling the number of charge cycles and preserving battery health for longer.

With time the battery will get itself calibrated. Third party battery it also good if it comes from a reputable manufacturer. To maintain good health and longevity make sure the battery is not exposed to extreme temperatures.

This is an interesting and highly useful setting. Please show a screenshot of this setting.

This setting should be standard or available for all Android smartphones. Users will be able to significantly extend the life of the battery (and the device) by activating this setting.
Now that you mention it. It does seem a good option to have.
But How much it really extends battery life is very debatable.

So maybe that is why it is still not been giving as an option because see that 80%-85% limit to charge battery has become norm now because it seems to have been very confirmed that it does help battery life to extend .
