BB Internet dialup problem

guys,

When I don't connect to the internet, I turn off my modem. Some program tries to connect to the internet and so the BB dial up connection tries to connect automatically. This occurs so often and it's really a PITA.

I've set the redial attempts - 0
redial if line is dropped is NOT checked.

what else i need to do?

More info, i've installed vmware and have shared the internet connection thru it. But i am not using VMware and still it throws this dial up.

time to shout. HELP!
 
you probably have set that dialup connection to dial automatically when a program asks for net connection , not sure...

do this ..

open Internet Explorer

tools-->options-->connection

here there must be a option like 'never to dial a connection' tick it...:)
