CPU/Mobo beep code help

does motherboard beep if
1. no cpu
2.incompatiable cpu
3.dead cpu
my mobo power on, fan spinning no post no beep(buzer present) without ram also
is cpu dead?
 
CPU is needed for error codes.

so the CPU might be dead but thats a rare case.

u can check the PSU also.. it might not be supplying enough power to the setup.

and also d buzzer can be faulty
 
Could be a host of issues including faulty RAM, or motherboard conking off. I too agree on Techgreek's post on CPU going bad as I haven't seen those cases for a very long time. Most probably it would be PSU or RAM...
