Whilst I cannot speak for others, don't we all have a friends who are into tech, just like us, but do not want or have the time to be on TE? Can we not help them out? As long as it's within some limits or the seller has some explanation (which you need to ask instead of sitting quite and making judgments/accusations and trying to figure 'sh@t' out on your own.)

Hey not a dig at anyone in particular at all man .
I just read the posts and don't even read the op names most of the time as I use taptalk only and never the web format .
My post is not meant to offend anyone at all it was a general observation I made browsing the various Indian forums in the past few years .
I apologize if I have offended anyone in my post above .
Mods feel free to delete if OT .

When will this kind of disgusting behavior stop? Such manner less people! Person has been regularly active on the forum since Saturday. Why do people feel they are being forced to buy a product or act like its costs to send a 3-4 word reply is beyond me!

Yea, absolutely disgusting. Many people who put WTB request don't have the decency to reply when you approach them with a product you have. In fact, some (senior/old) member on this thread don't even see anything wrong with this kind of behaviour, Why is this so difficult for people to realise it's common social ettique?! Someone has taken time out to message you at least have the bloody decency to acknowledge with a 'like' if it's so damn hard to reply. FFS! The only time I feel it's somewhat acceptable to ignore a message if someone has exceeded low-balling standards by saying 'My offer is x' where x is 50% or less than your asking price, without any logic, links, etc.

Let's not call out people openly or we will have to lock this thread.
If you have an issue, you are free to generalize and disucss the issue and not the person.

Lol it's like the opposite for me. I always try to update all PM's because I know how it feels to be made to wait.
I don't like to ask for regular updates by sending multiple msgs about the subject or it will be considered spam even when I'm in a hurry. And the last time I did that as a form of a request I got a "Are you retarded? Stop harassing me" response. :hilarious:
Meanwhile I've also once again learned that market feedback doesn't mean shit about a person's behavior. Some of the people here needs to be thrown inside a mental asylum or be left in the middle of the Amazon. Absolutely no class or professionalism.
Btw I also have a serious problem with members who posts their offer amount in the FS threads. Who's going to want to deal with them? No decency at all.

Hahah !

I've noticed something lately, there were 2-3 specific people who would bash sellers and/or react to thier FS post with 'haha' if the sale price was even a Rupee more than MRP. But now, when GPU prices have almost stabilized, the same 2-3 folks (who gave all the gyaan and taunts in the world and called people 'scalper' and what not) are selling thier GPUs higher than the price they bought it for.

Good thread. I think dealers/buyers here should be given lattitude. Sometimes you get a lot of PM's asking for deals, prices etc, and some don't respond and some don't. You often rely on your own sense of decency to follow up with the first person first and wait for at least half a day to talk to the other person. Deals have fallen through sometimes because of this particular format I follow but I've tried to maintain some fairness or follow that policy because in the end it works out. Things end up with people who need them, and you don't contribute to e waste as much. You can't expect every person to adhere to a sense of decency that you think is basic. Because what is basic for one person may not be for the other person. So I would say, don't be judgemental, someone maybe short of time, or in a hurry, or may have just plain forgotten because something unexpected and important came up.

The best way to appraise good behavior in others is to be on it yourself. Also want to thank TE members/sellers/dealers in general, being on this forum has resulted in a broadening of my understanding and horizons as a PC owner. Currently all the PC components I am using have been bought from this forum. Doesn't get any better than that as a member of the forum. Peace.

A bit off topic but I just saw a FS thread on Facebook and the images looked like I had seen them on TE, so I looked it up.

Reason for sale on FB was mentioned as Downgrading while on TE it was mentioned Upgrading.

PSA - Do your due diligence, especially before buying high value items.

Thats the very reason why on few occasions I have directly asked in their FS thread what they are downgrading/upgrading to...

Let me show you guys what kind of stuff I've to deal with (Not on this forum but on other marketplace where we have mostly women customers)

FB Comments (Wherein we've given price idea, contact number on the post & on the photo itself"
"PP of all" - Really? you want price of 1000+ products?
"I'm interested" - No you're not. If you are genuinely then contact us, whats the point of comment spamming on FB?
"I want" - No you don't, you can't take a minute to read the entire post & drop us a message on whatsapp

Whatsapp conversations
"PP for 100 pcs, i need urgently" - We give them the website link & they disappear
"I'll send you tomorrow" - No you won't
"I'm in office I'll contact you in the evening" - They dropped us a message first, chatted for some time, And now they are in office forever
"I'll order tomorrow" - No you won't, deep down you know it
Sends a screenshot of our website "Send me price" - Its already written below the picture, website is not there to blow balloons?
"I am not understanding on your website, send me personally" - Like really? you want me to send 1200 photos and each product price personally only to hear "I'll get back to you" which you never will

Facebook Messanger Messages
"PP" - Arey boss post me likha hua hai, why spam my inbox unnecessary when you have no intentions to buy?
"I want to know the price of vinyl stickers" - When I ask what text they want to have written as we calculate based on size, they go underground (Meaning, looking for legit TP)

If you guys think am joking, I'm happy to post screenshots here masking all info so you know what kind of p00p is thrown at us lol. And yeah, we have to deal with such timepassers on daily basis.
Sadly FB & insta is our primary marketplace.
Altough we have learnt a lot & implemented measures to keep time wasters at bay but still they always will be 1 step ahead for some reason with comments like "Where are you from", "More details", "DM Me" (Which they dont even read, forget about replying), "I want" (No you dont), "I want to order these stickers" (Boss whatsapp number is given, how am i supposed to contact you when you dont even read my comment or inbox messages?"

Had a case where a lady dropped multiple messages saying she is interested to buy, wants to know how to order, she hasn't even read the inbox message I'll share the screenshot for you guys to decide.

1 Basic measure which has helped a lot,
-Give them a label on whatsapp business, so you know you are dealing with a timepasser. We keep the chats intact so we know that if at all the person decided to pop up again we don't have to invest any time on them.
