reading about ubuntu 10.10 made to to ask my self like booting 2 different operating system can, how help me ?

many other ? like ,

is ubuntu 10.10 free of cost or do we have to pay like for windows?

use of ubuntu or benifits of it over windows 7 ?

what all to know before installing ubuntu?

compactibility of softwares on it including games ?

and what ever important about linux
 
Seems you are a beginner as far as Linux is concerned.

For you, using Oracle VirtualBox to run and learn Ubuntu will be a better option.

From there you can learn Linux quick and be updated fast.

Firstly, you don't need an Antivirus that sits and eats out your system resources, your applications will start utilising it...

for the rest, google.com search engine give lot of credible answers. :)

If you are career oriented and young, start using RHEL, will help in long run :)

No viruses, peace of mind while using pen drives (even the infected ones), stable system, faster boot.

Don't expect it to be Windows. Linux has its own learning curve.

It is a completely different platform compared to Windows; you should not expect Windows softwares to run on Linux. Instead look for pure Linux alternatives. However, they can be run through a Linux software named WINE.
