just went to ritchie street today (sunday) and was surprised to find the benq 1640 dvdrw for just Rs3500. its available from gurushree cmputers. they were among the few shops open today and they have more pieces. i wasnt expecting them to have it. i just walked in and enquired and got a nonchalant "yes we have it". and they were looking at me as if im a mad man cuz i was grinning too much !

im sure availability is not a problem with other shops too. so other city guys can contact us (chennaiites) to get their drives if they cant get it locally.

I told that Chennai had a stock of Benq DW1640.
The Benq India , Mumbai staff told me that the DW1640 had arrived in Chennai.
