Take care when you buy the BENQ 1650V - this is not a burner but a ROM drive... seems like an obvious trap for unweary buyers !!!

NO man - earlier I mentioned the BENQ DW1650 which is the 1650 writer !! THAT is the next generation of the BENQ DVD Writer which is what you were waiting for.
