Not to forget those have warranty and no hinge problems...

Not trying to troll or lowball, just posting in general interest to help you make a quick sale.

monsta : the price is decent. the difference is a 80gb vs 320gb hdd, and warranty. battery life as claimed by seller is decent. plus a licensed windows xp is available...
might be ppl who are interested...
there is someone looking for a netbook below 10k on the forums, Op pm him for a fast sell
the benq laptops are well built and better than asus, IMHO

they did command a slight premium during their selling days!

I read today TinyXPS will boost a netbook performance immensely as it uses very less RAM at startup and generally. It's meant for casual browsing. I'm giving it a go with my dad's 3-yrs old Asus Netbook(it's become very slow :()

you should give it a go, infact i have a windows 7 which is stripped out and is faster than tinxy xp or micro xp for that matter!

Well, I had asked for what price I could sell this and some other items in the "How much can I sell this for?" thread but got no reply so decided by myself. And since I got it in 24K, I thought 10K should be atleast what I should get since it wasn't used too much.

It does have a hinge problem but I'm not aware of today's netbook specs and prices much.

Kind Regards,
Casper

P.S.: babhishek, thanks for letting me know someone was looking for a netbook. If I find him, I'll PM him.

don't you think HDD is the most priced commodity since the thai flood. and it will be the deciding factor in case of 80gn plus 320gb.

Really ! my friend has a 1 year old samsung netbook with a dual core atom (i think N550 or something) and even that barely plays 720p and completely gives up on 1080p.

Just yesterday I downloaded a full HD movie and tried it on the netbook to test it since I wasn't sure if it played full HD. I'll have to confirm if it plays HD too. I guess I got confused since I had tested them on my normal 15 inch laptop instead. Will try and let you know tomorrow if it plays 720p or not.

Kind Regards,
Casper

P.S.: Sorry it doesn't properly play even 720p movies.
