PC Peripherals BENQ : Would you advise ??

OK, so watching 6 seasons of 24, I said to myself the 7th one deserves a 24" LCD panel for obvious reasons. :crazeyes:

I was first very apprehensive of BENQ [and still am - also the reason for the thread] and was thinking of going for DELL but my nagotiations with predatorvj failed at the point where i would be left with money for a Vada Pav for the remaining of the month or just the "pav" :essen:. . anywho. .

So i have decided on a BENQ, so just wanted your 2 cents as to how is the TN panel make n colours n all as compared to SAMSUNG ?

There are 2 models AFAIK : E2400HD [Dont like the looks] and G2412HD.

So people who own this , please advise as to whether its worth it or not. Both monitors have same specs, but G2412HD has better design and no speakers [and i don't need them ] so am inclined to that.

The Samsung Lavender P23xxxon TE is 23 inches only as compared to a 23.6 in BENQ so i think that would be one PLUS for BENQ !And it doesn't have HDMI as well for my future console shopping.

Disclaimer: I do not know about BenQ's service policy in India.

I've been using a G2400W for the last 9 months and been very happy with it. (it's an older version, 16:10.)

Good build quality, more than decent black levels and no backlight bleed.

A pretty good upgrade from my previous Viewsonic 22inch.

I haven't looked at the specific monitor you mentioned, but as they say on ebay,

'Good company. Will buy again!!'

I am using Benq 2412 HD . It is a very good monitor with good colors , sharpness clarity and low response time .The low price makes it a very good deal.It even has Hdmi1.3 and audio out
 
i'm using benQ G2220HD for 2 months now n am absolutely satisfied with its performance as compared to my friends 2033sw... no backlight bleed...!! trust me... BenQ is awsum!

Anyways go for Samsung cause at least here in Pune there service is excellent.

im using the same one. Extremely satisfied with the performance over a sammy 2233. But benq shudve given option for height adjustment and screen rotation on stand. It can only be tilted up and down, and same ll be with G2412HD.
 
There is new model E2420 with 2 HDMI , 4 USB , Audio n total 11 ports . It is available in market around 12K. I has better specs than G2412HD
