hi everyone,
i want to know the best 120mm fan (noise not a issue) available in the market.
i am planning to buy a ''crosair h50'' and want to couple it with the best 120 mm fan and the default fan in push pull config.
best 120mm fan (push)
default fan (pull).

plzzz suggest a fan.

i suggest a high cfm high static pressure push fan and a high cfm low static pressure [hence low noise] for pull. low cfm fan for pull could overload the pushing fan and might lower entire airflow.

u can use these fans for pushing:

* scythe Kaze ultra 3000

133 cfm, 3000 rpm, 47 dB, high static pressure, 38mm [650/- from phoenix]

*delta AFB1212HHE

120cfm, 2900 rpm, 46dB, high static pressure, 38mm [450/- from itw]

for pulling

*Scythe Slipstream 1900

110cfm, 1900 rpm, 36dB, 25mm [450/- phoenix]

*Silverstone FM121

110cfm, 2400rpm, 36db, 25mm, white in color [500/- lynx-amarbir]

Whats the URL for Phoenix ???

^^

Those are loud. Thankfully I have a fan controller. Also when using these type of fans, for intake, please use filters. They suck dust in. Big time.

As mentioned, the Deltas should treat you fine, but be warned though...these come with an acceptability factor which varies with different individuals. Some try to sell their Deltas after first use itself, while some fancy the noise initially but later are filled with angst. I personally got myself the silent Xigmatek white LED fan...simply because you can't listen to music or watch movies at sane volume levels with the Deltas in full flow (unless of course you have a pair of awesome noise cancellation head phones). My Deltas are lying in the store now...and they served me really well while OCing.

^Amen to that. Using it since a year with my TRU120E Black ever since Udit recommended it to me. Pushes a lot of air and is silent at the stock 12V, thanks to the hydro-wave dynamic bearing. Only downside is being slightly expensive. Got mine for 750 shipped from Lynx.
