Best and cheapest source for genuine Office 2007.

Ohk .One of my uncle calls up and tells me that he feels guilty about using a *ahem* version of Office 2007 for his work purposes.(by the way he uses genuine Vista Home Premium ) So now he wants to get a genuine copy for the cheapest possible price.

Checked out at Croma stores, Office 2007 Student/Home is available for ~3.7k. Anything cheaper than that ? Any MSDN student schemes like Vista/ Win 7 downloads ?

Main usage is going to be Word,PP,Excel. that's it.

Also can anyone explain what is the difference between the Retail Office 2007 which sells for some 10-12k and the Student/Home edition worth 3.7k ?

Ive already suggested him Open Office ,but he wants to stick to MS. So guys help with your suggestions .

you need an email id from an Australian University for that.

Till recently I was part of MSDN academic alliance program in our college. MS Office is not a part of it.. So, I guess the best option you have is to go for home and student edition..

(check it's limitations, whether it can be used for business purposes or not)
