A gaming PC on that budget is a tough ask. Especially if you want to play all games at full HD and high settings. A decent rig which lets you play games at lower resolutions and at lowered settings is possible.

Its difficult even to squeeze in a decent 2.1 speakers for 1k.

Its better to go with this DDRIII setup now as DDRII RAM prices is just Rs.100-200 cheaper than DDRIII.

But if u are on very tight budget then u can go for the Gigabyte M61PME-S2/ Asus M2N68-AMPLUS ~2.3k. Both are DDRII based mobos.

if i were u i would beg borrow or steal 2k more and get the 9800gt which is still a very capable card and that would complete my rig.the above config is very good.but the psu needs to be good to handle a 9800gt.

^ Yup but then PSU would add 1.5k~. 1k cabby only and 2.2k for a FSP SAGAII 400w/ Gigabyte Superb 460. So 2k more for the card and 1.5k for the PSU and it would cost ~26-27k.

But then one should be willing to spend atleast ~27-30k for a decent gaming desktop.

Ha ha ha,
no need to beg , borrow or steal...
Just need to wait for 2 weeks for adding 15k to teh budget..
So Guys can i get Decent PC nw...For highest settings
