Hi Guys,

I have just moved from South Delhi (Jaitpur) to East Delhi (Pandav Nagar). I had a MTNL broadband connection. The speed and everything was good. but the service was really really poor.

Due which I withdrew the connection. And it is still in the pipeline after the connection was cut on november last year.

So guys can you please help me in deciding which broadband is good in service.

I download
atleast 70GB per month.
and speed that was offered was 512kbps on MTNL unlimited plan.

so does any other broadband offers this kind of speed without speed limit caps like airtel does after downloadingof 8gb the speed goes from 512 to 256 speed.

anything above 50gb means there is no good for u in airtel try finding other service provider or else pay way too much to airtel for 100gb plans or so

I have rounded off two broadband offers

1. Tikona Wi-Bro it offer unlimited plan of 649 with speed 600 kbps with charges Rs. 1267 which includes (installation+plan charge+service tax).
2. Reliance Broadband Combo offer unlimited plan of 649 with speed of 600 kbps with 50 free calls.
Please if guys give a feedback on the services and connection of these two. And if there are other broadband offers tell me (advise me) except airtel and mtnl.

Stay away from Tikona dude.. they have pathetic customer service combined with ping issues, speed issues etc etc.. I am using one now in Mumbai and suffering almost 5 to 10 days every month.

Go for reliance. They are reliable w.r.t net speed and service.

With a 512 Kbps connection, 50 GB isn't bad. If you download using torrents, practically you can't download more than 4-5 GB in 3+ hours. So with 512 Kbps, it will be like less than 1 GB in 3-4 hours or around 4-5 if you turn it on 24x7.

If you get 50 GB that is like practically 15 days out of 30 of 24x7.

That isn't bad for exceptional CC and zero downtime.

But don't settle for less than 50 GB.

thanks guys for the info.

Tikona is gone.

Will check Reliance. Tell me any other broadband service which is in east delhi near akshardham or laxmi nagar. I want to have cushion if I dont like the service of reliance then can go to other any alternatives.

@pratikb and @wishmaster I have suffered a lot from MTNL I still havent recieved the cheque for the refund that has be given to the consumer on the disconnection and submission of telephone and broadband. completed every formality. :(
