I am thinking whether I should put my 3 year old Zebronics Jamaica to rest and get a new cabby. My rig seems to be out growing it at a fast pace. :ashamed:

Requirements

1. Support for installation of 7~8 HDD with proper ventilation and/or airflow with fans.

2. Aleast 3 x 5.25 Inch bays remaining even after installation of 7~8 HDD. i.e for one Optical drive and one dual bay fan controller.

3. Support for multiple 120mm fans at key spots. i.e atleast 2~3 120mm or one 250mm fan on the side panel. 1~2 120mm on the back for exhaust, and intake for front. 1~2 on the top. (I dont care about the noise, I already have 6 x 120mm high CFM and 2 x 80mm in my Jamaica cabby)

4. Inverted Layout (i.e PSU on the bottom and mobo on top) preferable.

5. Removable motherboard tray preferable.

6. Tool Free design preferable.

7. Weight <= Weight of my Jamaica i.e 15Kg and as spacious as Jamaica.

What are my options?

Stacker 810 FTW....:hap2:

other option : NZXT Zero

as quoted by Eazy sir
@Saiyan - this Case is not that good either, when I got it the HDD temps were around 43C during the cooler rainy days, the airflow from front intake fan was blocked by a nylon air filter and a Aluminum plate with holes which restricts the air a lot, and lastly the holes on the sides of the HDD cradle are very small for good airflow. So I removed the nylon filter and cut out the Aluminum plate using a Jigsaw I also joined the holes on the side of the HDD tray by cutting out the metal between the holes - the HDD temps now on a HOT no-rain day is 36C. Of course I have added the extra fan on the inner side of the HDD cage which you can see on the right hand side in the pictures, in the first picture this has a Blue Vantec fan and in the second picture I have changed this fan to a 4 colour LED Amigo fan. This one extra fan really drops temps of HDDs GFX card CPU and North/South bridge chips.
This case has 4 120mm fans on the side panel and these 4 fans like the name of the case gives a BIG FAT "ZERO" drop in temps to CPU and GFX card and the North and South bridge chips. :( All these 4 120mm fans seem to be good for is to throw dust into the case. I dont power these side panel fans - really makes no sense to run them because of their lack of cooling.
This case came with 7 120mm and 1 80mm fans (all fans are included)

Stacker T01;

Nothing beats it at the 9k price point; :D

U can have it modified to fix the fans at the required spots as well; KMD route FTW!!! :D

^^then too good for that price;

Get it modded from KMD and then voila!!! :happy:

My Lord, anything else in ur mind now??? :P

hehee.. compared to the way he started off..

he's gonna have to overhaul the whole comp now i guess :p

@lord. no 2408wfp?

Well Amarbir's GO was a limted for time... dunno if its available now....

You can get the 810 i suppose not the T01.....

u will require these with the case....

^^ amarbirs GO was supposed to last 1 week. afaik it was pretty much active for almost a month. after that he had some trouble with his lappy and all. Lord being his regular customer and all, im sure he'll be able to get a good deal easily.

what does worry me is that.. all of us have been suggesting stuff all over the place.. while our 'Lord' hasnt put numbers to his budget yet :P :P

OMG sTALKEr dont intimidate him already; :P

Let the Bloomfield arrive and Lord will be at it again; :D

The best case for aircooling is still Stacker 830.

Nope not necessarily with the PSU on top on the 830 and that u can mod the T01 to fix the fans at the right spots; :P

Even the A900 might beat the 830 if a couple of fans could be fixed on the side panel; ;)

Lol Gannu^^ The 810 is great for water cooled setups, not air...

The RC830/832 is still the best air cooled cabby around.
I've used both, owned both...still have my 830, got off in mint condition from RiO :)

I said the T01 can be MODDED to be the best air cooled enclosure and can equally compete with the 830/832;

Just because the 830/832 supports 4 fans on the side panel and 3 on top, it doesn't need to be the best around;

The T01 can do the same job with li'l modifications;

Another reason for the 830/831/832 being expensive is the utilization of Al instead of steel;
