Jokes apart the Punto is actually the best car in the game, followed closely by the Clio and the Elise. When at levels 3 all cars behave more or less the same, plus IIRC the game performance-matches all cars so it's technically possible to win without upgrading your car at all (and that makes the game more fun). I just let up the accelerator before the turns and bang nitrous into them.
However against human competition and with catch up switched off, things may be much more difficult, and will depend on driving style. Keep the car on the road and on the racing line. Aim for the apex of the turn and accelerate through it. The cars are sufficiently arcade biased to forgive all but the grossest of mistakes.
@gannu - it was a joke, if you saw the smileys. MW is an arcade game. By definition, it has no handling built in, and there's absolutely no feel. PS is also arcade, but it it borrows a few simulation elements. I actually like playing that game because it offers a nice balance between arcade and simulation. GTR/2 I'm still grappling with - so not an expert by any means. That would be Saumil, Eddy and gang.
