Best cheesecake in India?

Well, I've been spoilt. Have eaten a LOT of cheesecakes in the US when I was there recently.

However, it is so hard to find proper cheesecake in India. I havent looked in other cities, but I have covered Bangalore and havent really found a proper cheesecake.

Dont say Daily bread. Their cheesecake sucks. Sweet Chariot in BLR have something called Marble cheesecake but I'll be damned if you can taste the 'cheese' in it.
 
Ecstasy at Sathyam Cinemas (Chennai) serves blueberry cheesecakes that are a class apart over the fare they dish out at regular joints in the US

I think they were setting up a store in Bangalore too, not sure if it open as yet though
 
are you talking about the ny style cheescake which is made with Philadelphia cheese? american ambrosia and coffee bean & tea leaf have good ones. otherwise, diva makes really good ones too.. im talking about delhi btw.
 
If you've heard about this person called Shilpa Gulati in bangalore she makes really good cheesecakes. Also check out frescoes and Sunny's desserts. I;ve also found the Oreo cookie cheesecake at Couch REALLY good :D

Frescoes desserts are excellent, but the cheesecakes are just ok.

Where is Sunnys? There is Couch? How I wish there was a cheesecake factory here! And how do you get the cheesecakes made by this Gulati person?
 
oh damn, I love cheesecakes and those were one of the highlights when I had been to NY.

I have not come across any kind of cheesecake here :(. Maybe its available in some parts of town in mumbai not sure of here in the suburbs.
 
Yup oreo cookie cheesecake from couch is super stuff though its not cheesecake but its super non the less. SUnnys should have good cheesecake I am pretty sure of that as most of his stuff is good.
 
Blueberry cheesecake at just around the corner bandra is one of the best i have had. once had the same at Mocha, delhi when it was the cheescake of the week, equally good.

One bakery in dehradun, elloras melting moments... the best cheesecake ever :D

I'd been to a Sunny's at Lavelle road. I don't know if that's the one being talked about. Sunny's sure is a swanky restaurant though. Be prepared to spend some cash.
 
go to Cake Walk on Indiranagar 100 Ft road, near the upcoming metro station. So far the best place to devour cheesecakes. They normally have 6-7 choices available.

The only one I've tried is a Blueberry Cheesecake at Pritam Da Dhabha (it's not a dhabha, don't go by it's name ;) ) in Mumbai & it was friggin' yummy.

EDIT : Would also like to mention that I tried it alongside with a Chicken Shewrma & the combo is awesome.
