Guys, i need suggestions on the best gamepad for NFS Carbon.
The x-box is tooo sensitive, the zebronics is wierd.. any other options? :(
wanna know which one is logitech is worth a buy.. need it soon!
thanks :hap2: :hap2:

playstation 2 controller. You get the converter from play-asia.com but its recommended if you use the software. I have a blue ps2 and it vibrates to :-D. Its best if you use the software which they give u in a floppy or a mini disc. You can use the analog stick on the super joy box 3 pro since other converter seemed not to work

The PS2 DualShock 2. It's the best and sturdiest gamepad ever made.

I've heard so many complaints about the buttons on the X360 controller getting spoilt just here on TE, it makes one doubt its' durability.
While my DualShock2 has been enduring heavy usage since 2003 and not one problem in sight.

It's also true Plug-n-Play. If you have the adapter you just have to plug it in and it will start working perfectly. No deadzone issues or anything.
So it's excellent for all those NFS tourneys with questionable regulations on driver installation.

The drivers are only needed to enable rumble.

i'm usin a keyboard right now, need to upgrade to gamepad asap for that 1 second reduction in lap times..

@ck_nish from what i've heard, the x360 analog controller is a bit too sensitive compared to logitechs, or even saitek.. but saitek is not available in india i presume.. so logitech is my only option..

Help! keyboard is not an option!

Well, I've played the PGR3 demo and never felt like the X360 controller was overly sensitive or anything.

Maybe, you should go for the logitech rumblepad.

I've seen it around in many stores. It's gotten good scores on Newegg too. Should cost around 1000Rs. I think.

Xbox 360 controller with modified XBCD Drivers rocks for NFS Carbon
exactly.. but it isnt great with the normal microsoft drivers :(...

logitech dual action is a cheap but good gamepad :)

Dude-in this case, you either you can use a thrustmaster controller, which is known to be one of the best. They are the only ones who made official limited edition racing joypad for ferarri. But you need to order it from online I dont know which site they sell.

I never got any delays from this converter. Many people who ordered this loved it. But the funny thing is if you use it without the software, you have to use the left analog stick to move left-right and u need to take back the right analog stick to accelerate :-s

Reason is because its a ps2 and its not exactly a pc thing. But the software solved the issue. You can change the button settings without the software itself. My opinion is that if are using only for direct plug-n-play go for the logitech joypad with 2 analog stick but from the game controller option from control panel only. Personally I havent used it, but I wouldnt be suprised if you can change the button settings from the game itself.

me using the logitech cordless rumblepad 2....

loving it ever since i got it... very good stuff.. esp like the heft of the wireless pad... reminds u that ur actually holdin someting :)
