Budget 71-90K Best CPU, motherboard and PSU to go with 3080 Ti for 1440p high refresh rate gaming

Hi guys. Please suggest me the best CPU, motherboard, PSU to go with the RTX 3080 Ti for 1440P resolution and high refresh rate gaming. I prefer ASUS motherboards. I am not much of an overclocker and like stuff to just work like a plug and play nature with good performance. PC will be used mostly for gaming.
The below mentioned hardware is what I have at the moment, please let me know what can I keep from the following and what needs to be upgraded. What is important that whatever I end up buying should last me long without bottlenecks GPU and CPU wise.
My current rig:-
CPU: intel i7 8700K
PSU: Corsair HX850
RAM: G.Skill TridentZ (2x8) ddr4, F4-3200C14D-16GTZR, Timing: 14-14-14-34
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D15S

OR Should I just use my current system with the RTX 3080 Ti and wait for the next Z790 motherboards and next gen intel CPU?

In the current market, the 12400 bought locally is very much a steal for the performance you get. But before you jump ship, I agree with Stronk, depending on what games you play the 8700k might be very viable for 1440p high refresh gaming. It's undeniably a little below what most people would put in their rig with a 3080ti but if it works for you then you can skip on this upgrade or delay it until the next lineup of cpus from either side.

650w is officially recommended by nvidia but 650w works simply fine and you having 850w hx series is way sufficient for the entire rig.
No need to upgrade cpu as of now so you can hang on for the time being..

Use your existing computer for 3080TI. If you find that GPU usage does not go 100% but CPU usage goes 100% during gaming, then it means the CPU is the bottleneck. You need to upgrade only if that is the case.

If you are worried about CPU bottlenecks, then you should go for 12th gen. Something like a 12700 will easily last 5+ years without creating any bottleneck. As an added bonus, Intel's 13th gen chips are also expected to use LGA 1700.

Oh so you are telling me that when the new intel 13th gen cpus come out they will be compatible with the Z690 and Z790 motherboards?

Intel didn't specifically confirm about the chipsets that will support 13th gen but it is expected based on past launches that the Z690 will support 13th gen. (Z490 did support 11th gen).

Games are less CPU bound at 2K than 1080p, so maybe just OC your 8700K a bit & continue using it. Surely a newer CPU like even i5 12400 might net you a bit extra fps, but IMO just continue using 8700K. Wait till the end of 2023 to upgrade to latest Ryzen 7 or i7 (whichever is better) along with DDR5 memory. Hopefully, DDR5 RAM gets better by then & also reduces in price.

Just my opinion.

If you want to upgrade, don't settle for anything less than i5 12600K. Have seen i5 12600K around 27k, i7 12700 for 30k & i7 12700K at 36k:

You will need a decent entry-level Z690 (MSI Z690 A Pro) + at least a cooler like Deepcool AK620, or get Assassin III or Noctua NH D15 for something top of the line.
