Best Digicam for 10K ?

Poor me wants to buy a digital camera within 10K. (Ignore the 7K in topic)

No fancy things needed, looks doesn't matter. Photo quality and useful features only are needed. (High ISO, Shutter speed settings, etc are a big plus. I want to go as close to SLR as possible)

What are my best option? Thanks. :ashamed:

me too looking for best compact digital camera for 10k.

till now i have found few cam but most are not available so even if you find good cam by all reviews and rating on net you will get only whats available in market.

look at these models

sony w380(not available in store but given at sony website),w570(this is latest and most dealers are selling this )

nikon s4100,s6100(launced in india but yet not available in stores )

canon ixus 130(good cam but old and slightly inferior to latest cams available)

samsung pl200(good but old)

so can anyone please suggest a good cam at 10k...

It would be better if there are mode features instead of more megapixels. Eg. i would prefer a 12MP with shutter speed control, instead of vanilla 16MP cam.

Duh, this thread has gone haywire. I am starting a new thread.

Mods please close this thread AND enable the "go advanced" editing mode. That feature is not working on this forum.
