Hi,

I want to learn driving in a week or so.. Can you suggest me some good ones in Rajajinagar/Malleswaram areas.. One who can explain which gear to use when, basic mechanics of the car and of course teach driving :P

I think there is a maruti driving school close by. You might wanna check that.

Yup chaos can even teach you to do 200KMPH on NICE road without getting caught by cops :P

I had learned car ride through such a school but since i don't have a car, i don't think i can drive a car if i am behind the wheels :ashamed:

@sri_rng

You could probably enroll yourself in any driving school to learn the basics of driving, tech know-how on cars, traffic rules etc. till you get your license through them.

After that, I suggest you get a second-hand car(or brand new) and practice (preferably with an experienced driver beside) till your quite comfortable on your own.

Ace that and it's time to get a new car and enjoy driving !

FYI, the MS driving schools now feature driving simulators to make the learning process easier.

I'll check out some local ones near the RTO, I will see if I can get a deal.. Thanks for all the advice..

@chaos : Do you know if Maruti Driving School picks you up and drops you? I heard some driving school does that.. Else it's a lil far off from my place..

driving a car can be learnt quickly its all about gaining confidence once u know the abc of car accelerator brake clutch gear operations in a car enjoy the learning experience u will lose touch if u donot keep driving a car ..

Maruti Driving schools hav a 24 days learning schedule for beginners training....but one'll be a polished driver having a proper driving skills if he learns through MDS. Moreover driving isn't about moving the car on the road....one shud be responsible and tactful while driving any vehicle....mastery is priority. So 1 week driving teaches only how to move a car...but thorough learning session will make u a smart 'driver'.
