So, Dish TV is good.

All the T.V's are between 14-29" CRT:
14"- 1
21"- 1
29"- 2

Basically I also wanted to know how to run 1 connection on all the 4 T.V's?

You can, but then it also means that all 4 TV's would run the same channel. Would you like that..?

Also, check if Videocon DTH is available at your place.. heard its cheap n also got DVD player integrated... you may consider if you dont have DVD player.

You will have to take separate STBs for each of your TVs if you want to have the flexibility of watching different channels on each TV simultaneously.

Go for either Dish TV or Airtel. Tata Sky is cheaper for multi room, but their choice of channels in the main packages is limited.

I got two 21" CRTs and I'm also looking for cheap DTH too.

I will never run same channel at same time on both TV.

I heard that Videocon DTH with DVD player near 3K ?

Nope, all the 4 T.V's shall be running different channels.

Also, already have 2 DVD players, no room for another!

How much do seperate STB's cost?

I'll be happy with cheapest service, limited channels don't matter much to me.

Will try Videocon, hope they offer a scheme without DVD player.

Never buy Airtel DTH. Their signal is terrible as they compress the heck out of it. Tata Sky has very good quality but their base package is a bit limited when compared to others.

IMO Tata Sky has the best service and they are cheaper than Airtel if you add up all the channels except sports and regional (I am paying 275 a month for all english and hindi channels on my main STB). Their multiroom is also much cheaper, @125 compared to 160 for airtel. So you actually end up saving 105 bucks a month just on the 3 multiroom STB's compared to airtel. And their customer service rocks. Dunno if they follow differential pricing for Punjab (I am from Delhi). If they do, then you need to do a ground level study of your own mate as I only have idea about Delhi situation and prices.

^ Multi-room used to be 125 per additional, now it's 150 :)

DTH India - Tata Sky Faq's

Also, which package is it that you get all English + Hindi for 275? I pay 275 (Super Saver) + 45 (Lifestyle Gold) and still don't get all channels. There are still the ones under Cosmo, as also missing Music channels [except 9XM].

Long story short: If you are a avid TV viewer, avoid Tata Sky. If TV is just for show, go for it.

What crap. Just because you or someone faced some problem, that does not make it bad.
