The thread title has my needs!!!

Please suggest earphones and only earphones.

My current ep630 has got a little left right balance problem and it annoys me!!!Can't listen to it.

How is Sony MDR-EX32LP??

Well i own a Ep 830 and have tried a EP 630 also and TBH i could not feel much of a difference apart from the little better base.

Panasonic RP HV288A - headphones Specs. Headphones Specifications.

These earphones are much much better than anything which costs below Rs.1k... i had these in college days, they have SUPERB CLARITY. (much better mid, highs than ep630)

sadly they got stolen... but il be purchasing a new set very soon.

They cost very less too... easily available in market. i purchased them from a nearby Music World, they came with 6-month warranty.

 My frnd purchased at same time n his earphones still show no sign of fatigue  4Years OLD n still ROCKING!!!

else if u wna spend above 1k, go for Panasonic RP HJ E 50.... i personally dont like sennheisers as they have some enemity with the word BASS

Do it on your own risk
Oh.. i too had this problem. This is mainly due to wax build up. cleaned the tips with iso propyl alcohol and also with hot water only the metal tips immersed. All wax will melt down and your earphone will be back in perfect clarity.

Its not earplug:hap5: ....I need earplug re.....

AFAIK the ep830 and ep630 are technically the same... They have the same driver... Just a redesign and supposedly better bass...

ok.... hmmm.....

the ep630/830 DO have Better Isolation n hence maybe u wont need to pump the volume as compared to the pana's.......

In general, pana's must be having more volume than Ep630 but not as gud isolation.

But the problem is: The frequency response of ep630/830 is haywire... its damn inaccurate! the mids n highs are so muffled n pressed.....

It isnt so in the cheap pana's..... they cost cheap coz of Less Isolation than 630/830 but then they are worth evry penny for their Super Accurate Frequency response which makes music sound like music instead of a speaker beneath a carpet with the tweeter hanging out.

Another +ve: they are water resistant (not -water-proof though)... ( :) i used to wear them when it drizzled n it used to feel like heaven :) )

so Ur Decision shud be according to ur Preference:

Noise Isolation ( u travel in noisy places + Ur Music Preference is More Than 75%ROCK) ===>

Creative EP630 : Rs.770

OR

Better music (U value Accurate Sound reproduction + U listen to Trance/Hip-Hop/Hindi/World , in-short If boomy bass, muffled Mids, highs Annoy U)===>

Panasonic HV288 : Rs.515

^^ Dont do it man. I used to do that and my bike rides became more enjoyable. But I nearly died when some car suddenly came from behind me and cut me off. If I had moved even an inch to the side the car would have hit me and I would be a gonner. :(

If budget is 1k then i would STRONGLY recommend the cresyn e630. i picked it up from planet M in mumbai about 8 months back for 1k and they are just too good. i had the creative ep630 before it and trust me the creatives just suck in front of these.

There are also the soundmagic pl30 which have got amazing reviews and are better than the cresyns but they are a little more expensive...they were going on a site for $25 but i cant seem to find that site now. You should probably check for that site on headfi.

But if your budget is strictly 1k then go ahead with the cresyns and you will not be disappointed ( you will have to search for them coz they are not available at every planet M outlet )
