guys which fan is da best for the heatsink SI-120 i want three categories.
1> really high speed cools real well but noisy if noise doesnt matters here is this one.
2> runs cooler slower but pumps more air nice less noisy and everage very good
3> runs at a lot less speed but is really quite
if there are any other fans that yall recommend i wud be glad just need the right now to bear the damn summers 24/7 oced state without any AC.

Then rather buy the Sound Card from here.

The SilverStone Fan looks nice.

110CFM at 2800RPM.

Not bad, not bad!....

Go for it :D. :hap2:

ohh yeah tht fan looks like a absolute baby!!! i'mma get tht one its cheaper too.
:D :D :D
now suggest me a 120 mm bling bling fan for my antec p180 head head i mean i wanna put it on top a lil light coming off wud look nice.NOISE MATTERS 2 ME :bleh: specially when i i work whole night.

TT Blue LED is 46db at full speed. not 40.
46 is unbarable trust me.
Fortunately it comes with controller.
If you dont want bling bling i would suggest this one.

those are super crappy fans as they have sleeve bearing.

I suggest -
for si-120: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811999030
for top of p180: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811998128

sleeve bearing will just wont last as long, and even with average pc usage noone is gona use it for more than 3-4 years.

I am using sleeve bearing fans for over a year now and nonr of the 3 have failed on me.

In vertical position it does not matter much.

And those fans you mentioned are fine for case fans, but i would prefer 3 pin header fan on cpu.

err whats the diff betwene sleeved and unsleeved? and p180 top is horizontal position i guess :O

if u r buying fan for that top horizontal exhaust then get ball bearing there.

sleeve bearing fan will die out quickly if mounted horizontally.

The Aerocool Turbines are sleeve fans and for 37.4 cfm At 17-19 dbA, not a great deal!! Even the 1300-1600rpm TT Silentwheel add Silentcat fans do 54odd cfm at 16-17odd dbA!! Those 16 or 19blades are all show, no go!! Please recheck exact specs!!

The TT smartblue 120 is 1ball, 1 sleeve fan- 46.5db, 93.7cfm at a max speed of 2800rpm. Full speed jumper, Temp sensor/ probe for Thermal controlled fan speed, manual controller!!:D

The Thunderblade 120 is a good low noise, 21dbA i think, good cfm, 78cfm i think, single speed 2000rpm i think, led fan but is sleeve bearing only- so will die out faster in that top vent as it is horizontally mounted!!

Sorry, too lazy to check exact specs!!:ashamed:

The Silverstone FM121, (not FN121), is double ball bearing, 39.5dbA, 110.03 cfm at a max speed of 2400rpm!!
Those 9 blades whip up some mean CFM!!
you posted a link on the first page about it!!

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...n=&srchInDesc=silverstone&minPrice=&maxPrice=

Its slighly pricier than the smartblue which allows auto speed control via thermal sensor but has a neat silver coloured speed controller bundled along!!

IMHO Silverstone FM121, best cfm at lower noise and fan controller too, AFAIK!!:hap2:

I wanty if someone can get it for me!!:ohyeah: :ashamed:

Else search for a DBB LED fan if you still want some Bling!!:P
