1)well have used both AVAST & Avira.. so right now am kind of confused whether to use Avira or Avast..suppose i was to use Avira..can anyone suggest me the best free anti-spyware..have already installed comodo..

2)Am not able to open a camera memory card.. even though it's filled with pics..not able to view them..took it to GK VALE..and that guy out there said that it's a virus problem and that he'll install some software to view the pics..for tht he asked me to pay 250bucks..din agree..ummm can anyone help me in solving this problem..

1. I prefer to use avira. also use spybot n adaware in tandem for spyware :)

2. wat message do u get when u connect the card? (thru cardreader or cam?)

I never used Avira, but heard its good too. I m using Avast Home Edition now.

I use Lavasoft Ad-Aware SE (not the latest bloatware version) and AVG anti root kits, both for manual scans.

Spyware Blaster is also good, it dont remove spyware etc, no manual scan etc, it stops malware. Just install and forget.

and I never faced any security issue.

did u try google? i m guessin it uses a pro-duo stick? how are you trying to read, memory reader or camera directly?

try connecting camera directly?

All antivirus having some issues, even I have seen avast unable to clear folder.exe files, simply I am using spyware doctor with antivirus, seems good.

hey thanks tht worked..connected the cam directly..was trying to read it via the memory reader..

cool :) must be some compatibility issue or something with the card reader then ;)

just use it with the camera directly :)

Better than paying 250 for "virus removal" :P

Those are windows system folders, no need to mess with them.
