Best Free/cheap video converter for mac

Hello, I was wondering what people though the best free or relatively cheap video converter for mac was. Right now I have the full version of VisualHub, which works well, but is there a better one that is free/cheap?

I am not a Mac User but found the following software for Converting Videos in Mac(also available for Windows/Linux)

HandBrake

It's a open source/free video converter tool. (Seems to be a popular one among DVD rippers)

VisualHub is the best. But its discontinued now, but you can easily find the latest on the net/torrent sites.

Also give Roxio Popcorn a go. Even that is good for converting.
