One of mine friend wants to edit HD Video and Audio Professionally, and he requires a BEST Free/Paid Audio & Video Editor Suite for his task

Can someone pls help me, so I can suggest him

^^ i too use audacity, @OP, if you want to do some audio editing then use audacity, its very light on system

1.Audacity(audio)

2.Microsoft Movie Maker(windows) or iMovie(mac)

Paid:

1.Sony Vegas(audio & Video)

2.Premiere Elements(audio & Video)

3.Pinnacle
 
Paid app - Corel VideoStudio 12.

I have used the aforementioned app. Nothing fancy, but gets the job done. And you can output in a plethora of formats.
