hmmm...neva heard of gofreeserve ....checked out der site...kind of looks amateurish... have u used it extensively?... and plz dont give webs.com type of recommendations...only plain vanilla free hosters.....

Why isn't anyone mentioning Amazon's EC2? They have a one year trial offer in place, and the monthly free usage is fantastic. Likewise for Google's AppEngine for that matter. For a simple web application, I would prefer these guys over any other.

Well, 110mb has just that -- 110 mb space. There are much better services out there. The ones I mentioned at the start of the thread are some of them. But lately I have been looking for alternatives coz- byethost- used to be one of the best but now dont allow curl and php ports (the second limitation hurts a lot)
000webhost- good features but bad service and buggy implementation
x10 - best infrastructure among the three but many things lacking

I know there are many similar ones out there, just hoping someone might suggest one.....

@roadripper looks good overall....though the free plan is only for 1 yr...but if the service is as good as it looks, I dont see why anyone wont upgrade (deluxe plan is cheap enough)....

However, have u tried their paid hosting before??

I have never tried them but for starters its good i am with hostgator have around 4 sites hosted there....:ohyeah::)

x10hosting is free but they allow 2 domains and the free hosting loads slow and lot of Database Error.

000webhost etc sucks, they delete your website without any reason.

I can host a site, as i have 4 addon domain left but can't provide any Cpanel access and if you don't consume lot of resources. I have my site hosted in USA.

lol.... 000webhost is the most pathetic of the lot...u should have seen their customer responses given to me when i ran into some problems... i am pretty sure they have outsourced their helpdesk to india...coz all they had were generic answers....u could have asked them their dad's name and they would have still replied to u with their stock answers... :P ...they are the "loop" of the hosting business.... :P
