Graphic Cards Best Graphics Card for 1024x768 resolution.

My cousin brother wants to know which is the Best Leadtek or Powercolor Graphics Card for 1024x768 resolution.

Budget is not an issue.

But please don't tell 7800GTX 256MB & 512MB or X1800XT 256MB & 512MB as I know about them.

I wanted to know is there any other.

What's are the Prices of -
1) Leadtek WinFast PX7800GT TDH MyVIVO Extreme 256 MB.
2) Leadtek WinFast PX6800 GS TDH 256 MB.
3) Leadtek WinFast PX6800 Ultra TDH 512 MB.
4) Leadtek WinFast PX6800 Ultra TDH 256 MB.
5) PowerColor X1800 XL 256 MB.
6) PowerColor X1600 XT 256 MB.
 
I dunno the prices in India, but 7800GT is the best VFM card at present, closely followed by 6800 GS.
 
i will also suggest 7800GT ..... new kool XFX 7800GT will cost u around 24,000 .... if u want there is a review of that card in the erview section by funky :)
 
Well, I just had a thought.....

If he is going to be gaming at 1024 x 768 resolution, then it would make better sense to save some money and buy an X850 XT PE or a 6800GT. The high end cards make a big difference only at the higher resolutions like 1280x1024 with AA and AF turned all the way up.

Just my 2 cents.

well.. a 7800GT wud be my choice as well (as budget is not a constraint).. though he wants to play only at 1024x768 now, the games releasing soon wud tax the card even at that resolution (i guess)/../
 
Well, all of it depends on the Proccessor dude.

Wat proccy does your Cousin have? Or is buying?

No use getting a 7800GT with a pathetic proccessor.

My cousin has a AMD X2 4200+.

Is going to get X2 4400+ or 4800+ when they release.

My cousin brother wants to buy Asus Extreme N7800GT DUAL/2DHTV 512 MB.

How much does it cost.
 
ASUS cards have always been costly without any extra advantage. Not worth the price - performance ratio.
 
Is EVGA Available in India.

If yes what are the costs of -
1) EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GT 256MB.
2) EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GT CO 256MB.
3) EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GTX 256MB.
4) EVGA e-GeForce 7800 GTX KO 256MB.
 
Evga AFAIL are not available in India. Nvidia based cards only XFX, Leadtek, Gigabyte, Asus, and BIG are available.
