My friend owes a P4 3Ghz with 915PBL board

He is using stock cooler...Normal temperatures are 48-52 C
but on load rises to 57-63 C

Suggest a good HeatSink + Fab combo...which is available in MUMBAI........& which promises to bring the temperatures to 35-40 Normally.
 
IF yor friend wants 35-40, tell him to go on with a SilentTower112 full copper heatsink with 2 80mm sunon fans...shud be enuf......
 
The best cooler currently available is the thermalright xp-90c (copper version of xp-90). Costs around 60$(plus cost of fan plus shipping) at frozencpu. You can import it from there. You'll have a hard time getting anything decent in india though.
 
I remember I read a story a long time ago about a guy that made his own and ran the water lines to his toilet.
Or he could just seal up the case and fill it with water.

5000?? :O :O bro..for tht much u wont even get a decent air cooler.... a good water cooling system cost almost 25-30k and i didnt even dare find out how much a vapochill wud cost.... :ashamed:

now the temps r under total control.........
