I have a small website on geocities (just 450KB total). Geocities displays its own ads and also has a 4.2MB/hour datatransfer restriction - which are both constricting.
Can anybody suggest a cheap Indian Webhosting service that's robust and doesn't have a reputation for getting hacked? US web hosting services charge at least $5 monthly, for space and bandwidth that are way beyond my requirements.
I just checked out net4india - which is offering 50MB of space (more than enough for me) with unlimited data-transfer for just Rs 499 per year. Almost too good to be true... Reviews say the site's tech support is really poor and the site has been hacked earlier. I also looked at candidwebhosting.... is it any good?
