been playing fifa for years now.. tired of getting kicked in 3rd rounds of WCG ..so now I have made up my mind to practice real hard this time.

So now I need a joystick/joypad for it.

Need professional advice on this.. my concerns are:

1. Able to do tricks smoothly ( done in keyboard with shift keys.. such a pain
in the ass.).
2. The stick which is used to move the player must be kickass..

3. When I play with keyboard.. I use a combination of keys for
defending/attacking.. like Pressing C and S together.. so and sometimes
even 3 keys while defending (C for guard/walk, A for Sub Defend and then
D for aggressive tackle). Here C and A are kept pressed and then I press D.

So this should be comfortable..
4. Hand should not get tired after hours of playing.

Thx a lot for reading through!..:)

I own the X360 Joystick and its gr8 but not the best one for FIFA.

The sticks move a bit slower than the Logitech Wingman Cordless [discontinued]

Nothing beats the logitech wingman wireless , but its discontinued.

My uncle has this and this is the easiest joypad for FIFA , tricks can be done very easily on it.

These also look like gr8 joypads to me.

The xbox 360 controller is good. Is very comfortable and hands do not get tired even after playing for hours. ( max hours played at a go is 5, played fsx).

Does the 360 work straightaway with FIFA or do you need to map the buttons using a program like Pinnacle Profiler?

^The controller works straightaway...just go to the Controls thingy and select X360 Controller For Windows.

Another awesome option for FIFA and PES is the PS2 controller. There are adapters for the PS2 controller to be attached to the PC.

The adapter is about 450 bucks and an original PS2 controlelr is for about 600 bucks.

Is the adapter locally and easily available.
Also does the ps2 joypad work perfectly with it i mean all the sticks and vibration effect.

I have seen the adapters at Ninja Traders, Mumbai and bought mine from another shop in Mumbai.
Locally available ones work perfectly except for rumble. You have to install drivers for rumble to work (But all buttons and sticks work right after plugging in ) but finding proper drivers for nonbranded ones is impossible.

Better quality adapters are available from play-asia (free shipping to India) and they come with good support and drivers, so Rumble works as well.

I have an X360 Controller as well as a Rs 500 Zebronics one and to be honest I find the Zebby more comfortable for long use but the 360 controller has better buttons and sticks and works better out of the box with Fifa and most games like NFS.
