Get Dark cloud 1 & 2 also if you can. It incorporates many different styles of gameplay and pulls them off remarkably well.

I recently read about Dragon quest 8 and found that the action is in First Person mode - now thats really unlikable- i got YAKUZA , and checked a bit about it --and find it really great-superb intriguing storing line and mele combat is great..i had FFx-2..its a different kind of game- the problem is> i need to read a lot and i am not used to with the TURN BASED COMBAT system--any quick tips on this type of kind TURN BASED COMBAT

Haha! RPG's evolved through turn-based fighting which can be difficult to get into in some of the latest games. There should be a tutorial somewhere in the game to get any new player started.

I think what you really wanted are action RPG's.
