Will be buying my rig in th next few days. It will be for gaming and normal pc use.

I need a solid quality mouse/keyboard. Combos seem priced around 700-800Rs.

Should I go for ps/2 or USB? Same performance? Im asking this because when my old motherboards ps/2 slot got spoilt I had to use a usb convertor for my ps/2 mouse/kb and there was a lot of lag. That may because it was a convertor though.

I want to choose between these 3:

Logitech Deluxe 250 USB Desktop

Logitech Deluxe 250 PS/2 Desktop

Logitech Internet Pro Desktop

The pro one looks good but besides the detachable palm rest is there anything else that makes it better over the previous two?

Should I buy individual mouse and kb in the same price? Im open increasing the budget to 1k or so if the benefit is substantial.

Any similarly priced microsoft ones?

Suggestions and help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Logitech Internet Pro Desktop is the best combo, it has a good palm rest(one of the most important feature for me) that the others don't have and it's going to get out of stock pretty soon as it's going to be updated by Logitech Deluxe 250 USB Desktop.

Thanks for the advice. I suppose the Logitech Internet Pro Desktop is the one I'll get. Since my rig will be for gaming(mostly single player), I was considering a gaming mouse, but almost all of the gaming mice are far too expensive. I guess the internet pro combo will have to suffice.

Btw Amin.... why would the 'Logitech Internet Pro Desktop' go out of stock? The 'Logitech Deluxe 250 USB Desktop', already exists in the market? Unless the 'internet pro' is a very old model?

ya m8 internet pro is very old model i bought tat 3yrs ago

don't buy it unless unless u use multimedia keys

ps the keyboard is too heavy
