I have heard a lot about Warcraft, but none other. Currently i'm playing Ragnorok online, but m bored with it already.
So which, according to you, is the best MMORPG?
It should be free-to-play :ohyeah:. And keep in mind i have PIII based config with onboard grafix.

And yes....CS dint worked. It kept on giving these errors ...
" The address for LAN should be class C" or something like this. Also too slow :(

EDIT :
I have World Of Warcraft availabe within my reach. :cool2: Howz that?

Then get it. As far as gameplay and overall experience goes WoW is much better than EverQuest 2. It ain't too pretty so, if you're looking for eyecandy then it's EQ2.

The Current scenario at gaming cafes in India:

Half the ppl will be playing ragnarok and 75% of the time they keep staring at their neighbor's monitor(who most prolly will be playing cs). I dont really understand whats soo great playing MMORPGs.

Yeah but, Ragnarok is one old old old old old real old game. Personally I think MMORPGs are good, haven't experienced them myself :D. I'm thinking of goin in for WoW although the multiplayer part of Neverwinter Nights was/is pretty cool.

Windows® System 98/ME/2000/XP OS:

800 MHz or higher CPU

256 MB or more of RAM

32 MB 3D graphics card with hardware transform and lighting, such as GeForce 2 or better

4 GB or more of available hard drive space

DirectX® 9.0c or above

A 56k or higher modem with an Internet connection

That means WoW has to wait. Back to good (very) "old" Ragnarok.
Btw, Half Life I runs smooth on my system, but Counter Strike just cripples it. Any specific reason?

how much does one has to pay for this, w0W

there was nother one i knew, something similar to sims, but with money able to be converted into real money. and loads of cool 3d stuff going on.

but it needs at least 256kbps

GuildWars (from ex Blizzard employees who worked on Diablo2) is coming out this 28th.

It's a free mmorpg (you just buy the box, no monthly fee) with excellent graphics.

Hey yeah man, GuildWars looks awesome and that no monthly fee thing rox :hap2: .

For WoW there are three kinds of packages:

month-to-month package at $14.99 per month

a three-month plan at $13.99 per month

a six-month plan at $12.99 per month
