Monitors Best monitor for 7-8K

i got it as a discounted price @550, so i dont mind selling
and above all he is going to give 2033 for a post dated cheque
so i think its decent..

for 22' ... i think 20 is decent for me.. space constraint too.
i dont want that LCD to me major attraction of my room :mad:

i bought that 15' CRT some where in 2004 jan

i dont know how much life is left in it..

1.2 i can try..but i may have to deal with him later too ..so its OK.

OP need is mainly gaming

Why do people suggest a 16:9 resolution monitor for his requirement

Any good 19" monitor with 1440*900 native is the better choice

Best choice is E1909W - 16:10

He need a much powerful GFX card to game at its native1600x900. plus the skewed gaming resolution and less screen size

If its movies, then 2033 is a better choice

A local vendor is offering me 1800/- for my 3yrs old 15" LG CRT(black). :D
But dad won't let me upgrade the monitor. :(

Tell your dad that you get severe headache n pain in eyes even when u sit in front of the CRT for 15min.

LCD reduces eye strain to almost zero :hap2: get a 15" benq LCD for around 4500 incase you have limited budget.

Then he would suggest me not to use computer more than 2 hrs. :D May be I will get a new monitor, but can't live without using my comp for at least 5-7 hrs. :p

Samsung retails around 7 to 7.2k in mumbai. Ask the retailer to include dvi cable along with it . It is worth the price resolution max is 1600 *900 the axxo rips look good on this also br rips too look fabulous.

it didn't come with DVI cable..
just a vga to vga

but i had DVI to DVI cable and DVI to vga cable already..
if u (bangalore ;))folks need it i can get some for free
HP made... works my with 4770 and Samsung 2033 (i use it :hap2:)
My office PC (infact every one in office) comes with 4 cables 2 DVI to DVI and 2 DVI to VGA.

since office PC has only VGA out , they cant use DVI to DVI cable.
