+1 for nokia 5230 or 5233.if 3g is not a concern then you can get 5233 and 16 gb micro sd card for 1100 bucks in your budget,in this price range,these two are best for music and decent touch screen capability.also these two have screen resolution equal to n8,it is really the best screen resolution of any 3.2 inch screen available in the market.also you will get good battery life as these have 1320 mah battery and symbian consumes less power than android.
