Best Option to get a Laptop from US

I bought a Y410p from Lenovo which is estimated be delivered by 15th Dec 2013. Problem is the guy who was supposed to carry it got his stay cut short and will be returning sooner than expected. So I am stuck now with how to get this to India.
If anyone here is coming down/know someone who is coming to Bangalore can help me out it will be great. Alternatively, what are my best options specially considering the weight and the custom charges.
 
Shipping a laptop will kill the deal or may be turn out to be costlier. Even if it is marked as gift, nowadays customs are more strict and chances are quite high that you will be charged with duty.

I m not expert in importing stuff but @rdst_1 @prateekS might help/explain you better.

Yes that is what I am afraid off. Considering I dont have anyone travelling back to India, shipping is my only bet. I am just wondering if "gift" option will be better than using SnS or PPobox.

So the only realistic option I have is wait for someone to carry it for me? PPobox estimator tells me 10k for the customs + shipping, I guess +-1k on it. Is there a way to undervalue the item?
